Why hire Jared & Leah?

What makes us special

We are a Christian husband and wife team that enjoys working with other families to capture fun moments. When you book with us, you get two photographers for the price of one.

Short story: while we were dating in 2020, we started taking pictures together. We decided to try taking pictures of other people. Now we've been doing it for 5 years, starting with family and friends and now branching out to the community around us. We hope you will be our next friend to photograph!

Our Process

01.

Let you know you're in good hands

This is, of course, because you are in good hands! With Leah guiding your moves and Jared ready to capture the moments as they happen, you can relax and focus on being you in front of the camera.

02.

Make photography day a (fun) breeze

Laughter, laughter, laughter. I think that's our favorite thing to capture. It's good for the soul...good for ours, good for yours. Oh, and it looks really good in camera :)

03.

Deliver beautiful, memorable photos

The most rewarding moments as photographers are when we hand photos to our clients and they love them. That's what we strive for in every shoot - to give our best work possible to you.

We do portraits, life events, and weddings.

Leah and Jared work together on their photography, so you get two photographers for the price of one! Leah poses the family and makes sure everyone looks their best while Jared sets up the camera for just the right frame.

FAQ

How many pictures will we receive?

This can vary depending on the length of the shoot and the amount of people. For smaller groups (less than 5) you can typically expect 40-50. For larger groups, you can expect 50-70.

Where will we do the photoshoot?

We don't have a studio, so we have a list of suggested outdoor locations (around the greater Hagerstown area) we will send you when you contact us about a shoot. We are also open to new areas if you have suggestions!

Why is photography so expensive?

Believe it or not...it's reasonable for the amount of time. The average portrait shoot takes about 8 hours of work. That includes communicating, commuting, photographing, sorting, editing and delivering.
